HR Business Partner - Commercial Team

OTA Insight is a BI solution focused on Revenue Management for the hospitality industry. Our dashboard provides rate intelligence for the hotels to increase their revenue by optimising the pricing of the rooms on various channels for various lengths of stays. We combine cutting edge technology and data analytics to provide business intelligence driving revenue management processes to maximise occupancy and rates for incremental revenues. We have grown to a team of 250 employees representing 36 nationalities and working from locations all over the world.

We are looking for a full-time HR Business Partner for our Global Commercial Team (also the Revenue Team) to join our People & Talent Team in Denver. The HRBP serves as a strategic partner to a functional team by developing and delivering integrated and inclusive HR Services. This role will collaborate with the OTA Insight’s HR team and Leads of designated teams. The HR Business Partner reports to the Head of Talent Enablement and is co-responsible for the overall performance of their functional team (in terms of hiring, talent enablement, people performance initiatives & team effectiveness).

Responsibilities :

1. Hiring

Responsible for talent acquisition activities within the Revenue team. Improve hiring strategy, employer branding and other recruitment initiatives. Support management and leads with assessing hiring needs and being an advisor concerning candidate/team match. Be prepared to conduct interviews for key hires for the revenue team and get involved in the hiring process.

2. Initiate, Develop and Implement Human Resources Programs
Develop and enact HR policies that support business objectives. Analyze trends related to hiring, employee morale and retention, and employee relations with management and executives to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, aligning HR efforts with the company goals related to profitability, efficiency, and performance.

Design and execute strategies to increase organization, team and individual performance to improve the business’s capabilities to deliver against its goals.


3. Be a HR partner and advisor to Regional Sales Managers and Sales Directors

Consult with functional leaders to outline the organization’s HR goals, identify opportunities to improve processes, and provide recommendations to improve employee morale and boost performance. Provide expertise in the areas of leadership and team development, organization and cast effectiveness, and meeting design/facilitation with a bias toward building client capability. Be an advisor concerning strategic workforce and succession planning activities.

4. Coordinate HR Efforts between Departments

Work closely with regional teams and business lines to coordinate human resources initiatives including training, employee feedback, and internal mobility. Gather data and feedback from department heads or individual personnel and use it to guide future HR initiatives.


5. Address Employee Concerns


Resolving employee grievances, resolve complex employee relations issues grievances and be the first point of contact for the functional teams. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention


Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience in recruitment, additional experience in other soft HR domains (L&D, HR generalist role, HRBP,...) is a strong plus.
  • Professional experience in a (SaaS) start-up/scale-up environment or a demonstrated ability to work in and manage ambiguity – dealing with issues that do not always have a process or a system in place.

  • Demonstrated strong integration and strategic planning skills. Experienced project management skills; responsible for planning projects, coordinating with the team, clients and key internal stakeholder and seeing that the project is completed successfully.

  • Proven ability to manage conflict and the courage to challenge organisational thinking

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage and present data to effectively tell a story about organisational and business change; attention to detail is critical.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a diverse organisation to help drive business results.

  • Problem solving, decision-making and practical thinking are part of your DNA.

  • Fluent in English.
