OTA Insight is an incredibly fast growing scale-up delivering SAAS solution for the hospitality business (our clients are individual hotels and major chains like Hilton, Accor, … ). Today OTA Insight is present in more than 186 countries around the world and has more than 55,000 partners.

As we are growing, we also face constant challenges from new regulations across the globe. We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to help advise on the full range of legal work across the globe. This involves giving fast, pragmatic advice on a wide variety of legal matters while working with senior management and the General Counsel across all areas of the business.

In this role you will have a big impact to:

  • Providing legal advice to all teams across the business, summarising and communicating legal concepts and risks in a way that is meaningful for their day to day activities;

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, with customers, partners and service providers;

  • Supporting and managing a variety of ad hoc projects within the company and the group as they arise;

  • Taking ownership of all privacy related matters and policies and managing external lawyers where specialist advice or additional capacity is required;

  • Working as part of company-wide teams to advise on regulations impacting new business projects or initiatives (typically commercial agreements, IP-related matters, product);

  • Supporting larger corporate transactions, such as fundraising, financing and M&A.

Job requirements

  • Master of laws with 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably but not mandatory in the domain of SAAS, technology or IP;

  • First experience in one or more of the following areas: general commercial contracts, data protection, corporate litigation and/or IP rights;

  • Good in problem solving, unlocking opportunities and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders from the business;

  • Being able to adapt and work around changing business needs, strategy and workload;

  • Excellent verbal and written communications in English;

  • Hybrid working between remote and weekly meetings in the Ghent office.
