OTA Insight is a BI solution focused on Revenue Management for the hospitality industry. Our dashboard provides rate intelligence for the hotels to increase their revenue by optimising the pricing of the rooms on various channels for various lengths of stays. We combine cutting edge technology and data analytics to provide business intelligence driving revenue management processes to maximise occupancy and rates for incremental revenues. We have grown to a team of 225 employees representing 36 nationalities and working from locations all over the world.

We are looking for a full-time Learning & Development Manager to join our People & Talent Team in Ghent. This is a brand new global position within the OTA Insight People & Talent team, therefore we’ll rely on you to help lay-out the foundations of our global L&D strategy, processes, frameworks, etc. Your main responsibility will be to help our employees advance in their career by levelling-up their skills and knowledge. You will have a diverse range of responsibilities within the People & Talent Team with a focus on training and development. You will collaborate with the HR BP’s to identify and manage training & development needs and will report to our Head of Talent Enablement.


What you’ll do:

L&D Strategy

  • Review the AS IS and current training needs to then develop, prepare and implement learning strategies and training programs & roadmap in collaboration with the HR BP function and functional leaders that drive performance by conducting regular training needs analysis with stakeholders.

  • Be an active stakeholder in identifying leadership’s needs, building leadership development tracks, coaching & mentorship and facilitating & training leaders on people management topics.

  • Define, develop and roll-out High Potential Development/ Talent Management programs

  • Work together with the HR team on HR engagement and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives from an L&D point of view (motivation, retention, coaching, ...)

  • Understand the global business strategy and the hybrid work context, proactively diagnose the organizational challenges and tailor global and local L&D solutions per unique need. Facilitate remote training for self-guided and instructor-led program accordingly

  • Build, organize and optimize all learning materials (facilitator guides, job aids, learning activities, leadership development, etc.)

  • Undertake research on a range of L&D related topics as well as lead testing of new tools, to assist in preparation of new initiatives.

  • Act as a consultant and source of knowledge in your area of expertise.

  • Conduct training sessions on soft skills & people management related topics for a diverse audience

L&D Coordination:

  • Organize and process all internal and external learning initiatives in different forms (technical and soft skills, classroom, e-learning, workshops, certifications, self-study, ...). You take care of the necessary steps such as selecting the training provider, planning, registration, evaluation and funding.

  • Draw up and follow up on the annual training calendar and associated budget in consultation with the various managers. You give advice on training needs and make suggestions about the offers of external training institutions.

  • Give advice on individual training needs and make suggestions about the offer of external training providers.

  • Be the contact person towards the different learning providers (internal and external).

  • Report on learning results and certifications. Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of training

  • Manage LMS and assign courses and learning paths

  • Integrate quality assurance feedback into the learning content development plan

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about Learning And Development, shows a genuine interest in broader HR topics.

  • Excels at identifying the current and future skills requirements, and has experience in creating flexible learning interventions (through digital and other means) to meet the diverse needs of the workforce.

  • Has strong experience in designing, developing and delivering training material

  • Ideally has developed a training strategy and have an understanding of different training methods and channels

  • Has +-3 years experience in a L&D function

  • Can function autonomously with minimal guidance

  • Is ambitious and hardworking with creative ideas to inspire team members across the globe

  • Possess excellent time management & project management skills along with a hands-on attitude.

  • Possess strong collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Is fluent in English.

  • Is willing to travel to our other locations in Denver, Singapore & London (once a year)
