OTA Insight is a Revenue Management Intelligence Provider for the hospitality business (our clients are individual hotels and major chains like Hilton, Accor, … ). OTA Insight is an online dashboard solution (SaaS) providing rate intelligence for the hotels to increase their revenue by optimising their pricing.  We combine cutting edge technology and data analytics to provide smarter business intelligence to maximise occupancy and revenue.

The role

We are expanding rapidly and are looking for a full-time (no freelancer) Project Manager in Ghent or London to join our Product Team.  As a Project Manager, it will be your responsibility to gather the requirements from both internal and external stakeholders, to which then you will implement this fantastic product into some of the largest hotel groups (at the moment we work with almost all of the largest global hotel chains). This involves mapping out customer processes, configuring the software and working both with customer stakeholders and the internal team.


What you’ll do: 

  • Responsible for managing key project implementations with our large customers from start to finish. 

    • Working with clients, running workshops and project meetings.

    • Ensuring that the product is delivered to agreed scope and timelines, with customer satisfaction on the quality of work. Reporting KPIs on a weekly or monthly basis.

    • Create and implement a repeatable methodology and best practice to continue to develop and scale the delivery of this product in a scalable fashion.

    • Create appropriate documentation and collateral to improve implementation effectiveness.

    • Developing and executing strategies for leveraging data and running projects with customers to help improve their processes and use data to help drive product development.

    • Typically involves extensive interaction with sales, engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams. Project is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests. Typically oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment.

  • Understanding client needs and translating and aligning those to our product offering and product vision. Formalise product gaps and check viability with internal stakeholders. 

    • This person executes and manages both pre-sale and post-sale activities including assessment of how company products meet customer needs. Business and functional requirement gathering and responsible for the preparation of product specifications for development and installation of customised applications/solutions.  May provide pre-sale technical support in sales presentations and product demonstrations. Establishes and maintains lines of communication with CTO, head of product and head of engineering on issues such as considerations for product reliability. 

  • Manage risk, escalate issues as appropriate.

  • Look for opportunities to improve process, templates and tools to scale project management and implementation processes.

Requirements


  • Master degree and at least 3 - 5 years of software-related or other large-scale project management experience

  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, running meetings/conference calls and smaller workshops

  • You master English, both spoken and written.

  • Highly organised, analytical and able to work independently: you can juggle between different projects at the same time, you have a tendency to take ownership and you have a sense for prioritising tasks, making estimates and creating timelines.

  • Experienced in the implementation of complex or enterprise SaaS products

  • Experience working with SaaS Platforms and Hospitality industry are a plus

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy, team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure.
