OTA Insight is a Revenue Management Intelligence Provider for the hospitality industry (our clients are individual hotels and major chains like Hilton, Accor, … ). OTA Insight dashboard provides rate intelligence for the hotels to increase their revenue by optimising the pricing of the rooms on various channels for various length of stays. We combine cutting edge technology and data analytics to provide business intelligence driving revenue management processes to maximise occupancy and rates for incremental revenues.

We are looking for a full-time Senior UI/UX Designer in Ghent to join our Product Team. You will help design the products that fuel OTA Insight’s mission to empower hoteliers to make smart revenue and distribution strategies. You’ll have a direct impact on product strategy, roadmaps, and the detailed design of new experiences that help both the world’s biggest hotel chains such as Hilton and Best Western, as well smaller independent hotels, all over the world.
What you’ll do
You are a Senior UI/UX Designer who will help us create user interfaces that are simple and delightful. You have the ability to create experiences that not only feel good, but also look good. You have a mastery of fundamental visual and interactive design disciplines and principals and have an exceptional eye for pixel-perfect detail. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with User Researchers & Product Managers to create unique wireframes, user flows & polished designs that solve real user needs.
Execute all visual design stages for new product and feature development from concept to final hand-off to Engineering, in autonomy or in collaboration with other designers.
Establish design guidelines, standards and best practices.
Present and defend concepts, designs and key deliverables to stakeholders.
Be a sounding board for our other designers.
You'll have the opportunity to apply your creative designs to multiple domains including all our solutions, dashboards, data visualizations, websites, marketing campaigns and more.
Lead workshops related to UX/UI topics.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as UI/UX Designer
An available portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and creative problem solving
Fluency in best practices for interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
Experience creating prototypes and highly detailed wireframes for complex user flows in web applications.
Experience working in a tight design cycle and collaborating with the development team for design implementation.
You have excellent communication skills since your stakeholders will be technical experts, as well as business stakeholders
Passion for addressing business challenges through design solutions
Active participation in design communities; informed opinions on current design/UX trends
Fluency in Figma & Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
An interest in data visualization is a plus
